5M market coupling: the key players 
The  memorandum of understanding aiming to extend the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian  market coupling project to encompass Poland and Romania was signed a week ago,  it emerged on Wednesday (17th July). 
  The move  will bring together a host of key players, and gives an early indication of the  size and ambition of the EU-wide model.  
  The 5M  market coupling project will include:

  • POLPX (TGE) - Poland 
  • OPCOM - Romania 
  • OKTE - Slovak Republic

  • MAVIR - Hungary 
  • ČEPS - Czech Republic

  • Transelectrica - Romania 
  • SEPS - Slovak Republic 
Regulators 
  • HEAT - the Hungarian Energy and Public  Utility Regulatory 
  • ERU - the Energy Regulatory Office in Czech 
  • URSO - the Energy regulatory body in  Slovakia 
  • URE - the Energy Regulatory Office in  Poland 
  • ANRE - the Romanian Energy Regulatory  Authority
